City outline

Kaga City is a place that cherishes tradition and culture. It has many hot springs, authentic Japanese cuisine, and also beautiful traditional crafts like Kutani porcelain and Yamanaka lacquerware.

Kaga Onsenkyo (hot spring village) consists of three well-known hot springs in Japan, namely: Yamashiro Hot Spring, Yamanaka Hot Spring, and Katayamazu Hot Spring. Yamashiro Hot Spring Town preserves an old town atmosphere. These hot springs each have different characteristics. Kaga City is well known for having the largest hot spring tourism area on the Sea of Japan side.
