【Canoeing】Courtesy visit to the Ishikawa`s Governor of British Canoeing.

In May 2018, Paul Ratcliff, the Performance Director of the British Canoeing, did a courtesy visit to the Governor and announced that the Federation would like to hold a preliminary training camp towards Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics at Lake Kiba Canoe Sprint Course, in Komatsu.

In October 2018, the President of Mozambique Canoe Federation and his athletes visited to Tanimoto, Ishikawa Governor`s office. They expressed their willing to training at Lake Kiba.

【Paracanoe】Courtesy visit to the Ishikawa`s Governor of Brazilian Paracanoe Rio 206 medalist, Caio Ribeiro de Carvalho

In October 2018, the Brazilian paracanoe athlete and medalist of Rio 2016 Caio Ribeiro de Carvalho visited to the Governor`s office and announced he was motivated to make his training camp at Lake Kiba Canoe Sprint Course and to interact with children with disabilities.

Framework for Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics pre-games training camp promotion

On April 2017, Ishikawa Prefecure established the "Prefectural Sports and Cultural Affairs" Department, in light of the recent changes surrounding the sports community. The promotion of Olympic and Paralympic pre-Games training camps will be headed by the new department.
